RENZANKYO

Outline
A three-story wooden apartment building for rent located in a corner of a cul-de-sac designated as a Type 1 exclusive district for low-rise residential buildings. The relationship between the interior of each private room and the passageway on the site is likened to that of a tea house and an open space, with the idea that the complex form, derived by a mathematical algorithm of maximum volume x legal compliance, is experienced vividly through the perceptions and physical senses of the residents. The mountain bushes are planted in locations that provide the legal width of the algorithmically calculated pathway through the site, encouraging the goose chase to be visible from the outside, and visible from the inside as drooping branches.
