MORI×HAKO
KEISUKE MAEDA/UID ARCHITECTS
- Outline
- A tenant building for three different types of businesses. On a long, narrow site with a frontage facing the road, the building is divided into two "boxes" with a "forest box" in the middle to add value to the environment at the rear of the site, which is considered to have poor conditions. The two boxes and the "forest box" create four layered walls. The walls have random openings at first glance, but they are positioned in consideration of the privacy of the tenants, the activities in the planting zone, and the overlap of the openings created by the layers.
