House in Asahigaoka

Outline
The building is located in a residential area developed on a slope in the shape of a hill. The two square volumes are set at 45 degrees to each other, taking advantage of the 3-meter difference in elevation between them. The gap and overlap between the two volumes are utilized to connect them to the site. A highly mobile floor plan was realized by manipulating the relationship with the earth and the sky in the cross section.
