Villa in Narayama

Outline
The building consists of a series of five single-storey concrete and partially steel-framed residential buildings and a separate wooden teahouse. In order to capture sunlight in an area with low sunshine rates and to take advantage of the elevated location to enjoy the scenery, most of the exterior walls are made of double-layered glass screens. The slab is the same height as the floor of the site, which slopes gently toward the south, to adjust the distance from the ground and the surrounding environment.
