House in ootsu

Outline
The building is located in a new residential area developed 30 years ago, and is surrounded by a series of two-story houses with sloping roofs on a site developed on a hill. By lowering the height of the building by half a floor above the surrounding area and creating four terraces at the second floor level (2,415mm high), the project aimed to create a new relationship with the surrounding area while accepting the context of this residential area.
