Forestry and Forest Products Research Institute (FFPRI) Experimental house

Outline
This experimental house is the result of a competition held by the Forestry Research Institute, and is an environmentally symbiotic house that maximizes the use of natural energy through the design of the building. It has a large opening in the south, an earthen floor to store heat, and earthen walls to increase the heat capacity. In addition, the exterior walls are double-skinned to protect against the western sun, and the water area is located on the west side to create a buffer zone for the living rooms. For ventilation, a high side is opened on the north side to promote gravity ventilation in the north-south direction.
