House in Tanimannari

Outline: This project is to renovate a detached house built in the early Showa era into a residence and a greenhouse for Muscat cultivation into a studio. Originally, the detached house was a one-story house with two 6-tatami-mat Japanese-style rooms, which were converted into a living room, dining room, and kitchen. The ceiling height of the kitchen is reduced and the bedroom is built in the shed. The greenhouse, which was about 18m long, was cut at 5,460mm and the entrance was built on the cut surface. The floor is covered with bricks, and the walls are piled with cedar boards and some field stones.
