Layerd House

Outline
This is the third work in a series of houses that experiment with rectangular openings in buffer spaces. As in the first and second works, the living and dining rooms are placed in the center of the house, and buffer spaces are provided on the north and south sides of the living and dining rooms. The buffer space on the south side is divided into three parts by a portal-shaped wall and a stepped floor toward the garden. By constructing the buffer space in a layered manner, the distribution zone of light and heat environment at a distance from the outside is created.
