Sogabe Residence

Outline
The house is built on a triangular flagpole site with a slope on the north side. The skip floor is arranged as if traversing the slope, and it becomes a one-room as if folded. In winter, warm air flows from the thermal storage heater under the floor to the entire building through the atrium. Many creators participated in the design, including Kenji Nawa for the structure, Tokyo Electric Power Company's Living Energy Center for the facilities, Seiko Yamazaki for the exterior, Yusuke Asai for the wall painting, and Daiki Kehara for the nameplate.
