Outline
A new facility consisting of a shop and a book café was constructed as part of the revitalization project in the center of Tohoku University's Aobayama-Sando campus. Aiming at the integration of shop space and café, the design and operation method were decided through a competition, and the bookshelf by Fujie Kazuko is placed under the large single-flowing roof with an interdependent structure of wooden lattices of 1800mm square and 900mm square. Book director Masataka Haba participated in the book selection.
