The building consists of two volumes, an atelier building and a residential building, connected by a tunnel. The slope of the courtyard creates a gap in height between the two buildings so that the eye can see through, and by embedding the first floor of the residential building, the height and sense of oppression of the three levels is eliminated. Also, one of the owners of the house is in a wheelchair. The view is taken in with the eye level of the wheelchair in mind.
