- A 5-year-old steel-framed private art museum was relocated to this new location, and the existing structure was completely renovated as a photography museum. The building was designed by the photographer Hiroshi Sugimoto, who himself instructed on how to pile the natural stones in the tsuboniwa garden on the north side.
