FUUENKYO

Outline
The exterior wall on the street side of the house is set back by one car length, and the entrance is blindfolded by planting, which also entertains the eyes of passersby. The courtyard is designed to allow the wind to blow out and the view to pass through, and the walls are fitted with vertical lattices. The upper part of the master bedroom on the second floor is a rafter structure of gassho-zukuri, in which the main pillar, ridge and rafters are strongly assembled with knotless materials so that the horizontal beams are not exposed.
