- This is the residence of an architect who advocated self-building in the age of deindustrialization. In the first phase, a steel-frame shelter was built over the existing wooden house. A wind + solar power generation system provides flexibility in "buying/selling power" to ensure a minimum level of independence even during power outages, and a ventilation layer + rooftop soil slow down solar radiation with a thermal inertia body. The large roof + tent provide a variable ventilation system that responds to seasonal winds. Based on the concept of "light infrastructure" that does not depend on heavy infrastructure, "the residence is alive at every stage of change," and the unfinished work is completed.
