- This site was chosen to avoid damming along the water's edge of the valley. By "fitting" the stadium into the steep terrain of the former quarry, the architecture and the natural environment are seamlessly integrated. Another feature of the stadium, the roof, consists of a pair of full-lock coil cables placed 3.75 m apart from each other, supporting two concrete slabs covering the stadium's two stands.
