Stiva da morts
Gion Antoni Caminada
- Outline
- This public mortuary was designed for a village where it was customary to mourn the deceased by placing them in the living room. It is built in the same stryck-bau style as the houses in the village, but the exterior is painted in gazebo to harmonize with the adjacent church. A kitchen was also installed to serve coffee to mourners. Caminada has been designing wooden buildings for the village of Flynn for more than 30 years.
