Nago City Hall

Outline
This architecture thoroughly deciphers and reorganizes the land. In response to the design theme that called for regionalism, local resources are concentrated in the concrete blocks, which are widely used and technologically advanced in Okinawa, and in consideration of shading and ventilation through the use of heron-shaped louvers and flower blocks. The layered asagi-terrace, shisa, and locally procured colors give the building a unique appearance.
