Yoshida House

Outline
This house was built in Ninomiya-cho as a war evacuation site. Due to building restrictions, the total floor space was not large, and later additions were made. The Japanese-style design has been described as a new "sukiya," but Yoshida's original goal was to create a sukiya suitable for the 20th century with "clarity" as the key word.
