- The Nazi Party rally hall in Nuremberg, built under Hitler's presidency, is a nearly square plaza with an auditorium and a front podium in the motif of the Temple of Pergamon. The square square is surrounded by audience seating, and the front podium is a classicist structure with a Pergamon temple motif. 1936's National Party Congress featured a "Lichtdom" (Cathedral of Light) with rays of light parallel to the columns reaching for the sky. For Hitler, architecture was a means of leading the masses, and the "Germania, the World Capital" was one of the projects he entrusted Speer with the detailed design of for the remodeling of Berlin.
