New York World’s Fair “The World of Tomorrow”

Outline
Under the theme of "TheWorldofTomorrow," the venue configuration, which extends in concentric circles from the circular dome "Perisphere," and the giant diorama "Futurama" (see photo above, designed by Norman Bel Geddes), all serve to inspire a yearning for the city of the future. World War II broke out during the Expo's opening period, marking a historical turning point that symbolized peace and internationalism.
