Restoration, Waraku-an

Outline
This is a relocation and restoration project of the former Inahata Katsutaro's Western-style building "Warakuan", which was designed by Takeda Goichi in 1916 and built as an addition to the existing Japanese-style building complex, and has been enlarged and reconstructed several times since then. It was moved to the west campus of Kyoto University of Technology, Matsugasaki, and built diagonally across from Building No. 3, designed by Seigo Honno, a disciple of Takeda, and the bust of Goichi Takeda.
