- Renovation of a public bathhouse established in 1955 that stands in a residential area. prior to the renovation, the area was used as a restaurant separate from the bathhouse, but was expanded and used as the entrance to the bathhouse. all the finishes of the existing bathhouse were removed, and three types of tiles (47 mm square, 97 mm square, and 47 x 97 mm square) were placed in combination, with the joints aligned, to create a gentle sense of discomfort.
