- This station building was constructed in conjunction with a project to build a series of multi-level intersections on conventional lines. the arched façade, which was inspired by the stone walls of kumamoto castle, is clapboarded with cast aluminum. the aluminum castings are shot-blasted and primary colored by electrolysis. the platform sheds are roofed with a laminated wood structure.
