KINDERGARTEN LINOHILA

Outline
This child-care center is located on an irregularly shaped site with a 7m height difference from south to north. With a 3.7m high retaining wall on the west side as a backdrop, the school building with three levels is placed along the difference in elevation of the site as if to enclose the school yard. Based on Steiner's educational theory, the school has classrooms of different sizes, heights, and shapes for each age group, with the intention of nurturing the children's senses and the power of free will.
