GINZA SIX

Outline
The two city blocks are integrated into a single site of 9,080m2. The existing Azuma-dori road is replaced on the east side, and a new internal road is built on the site where Azuma-dori used to run. A design system of "goodwill" and "eaves" was adopted for the façade. The commercial facilities are set at a height of 31 meters to form a conventional streetscape, and each store has a highly flexible "nenra" (goodwill) hanging from the "hizashi" (eaves).
