ENGAWA OFFICE

Outline
An 80-year-old private house and storehouse in Kamiyama-cho, Tokushima Prefecture, was renovated into a satellite office for a company that creates program information and develops systems for television programs and video content. In order to embody the company's working style, which is based on the philosophy of "open and seamless," the exterior walls are made of glass, and a 2.8-meter-deep veranda space is built around the perimeter. This creates a buffer between the building and the outside world, as well as a place where local residents can casually drop by.
