SHUGOIN

Outline
This is a 12-unit rental housing complex consisting of a volume through a passageway, with a shop in the basement. The passageway and the space above the passageway are places where the residents and the people coming and going in the passageway can exist at the same time. The openings are made of openwork brick in order to protect privacy while blocking the main road with its heavy traffic. The interior is designed to enhance the quality of life.
