Outline
The redevelopment of the Namba area was decided in 1996. Namba Parks (0312, 0707) is included in the A-area, and the C-area, which is the new development area, consists of two buildings: the Nankai Namba No.1 Building, which houses the head office of Nankai Electric Railway and Osaka Prefecture University, and ZeppNamba, a live music club. Between the two buildings is a triangular plaza that is wide open to the adjacent road. The plaza is covered with greenery to create a continuous green space within the Namba Redevelopment District.
