- This shop is a direct management shop of a company which aims to transmit information of Yakushima island in Kagoshima prefecture. The site along the prefectural road is open to open space and woods. It consists of a main building used as an outdoor goods store and a detached building. It is surrounded by a wall made of stones from the island, and a wooden roof is placed on top of the wall. The building was designed using local materials and the skills of local craftsmen.
