Y150 HAJIMARINOMORI (FOREST OF BEGINNINGS)

This pavilion serves as the base facility for the bayside area of the Yokohama Port Opening 150th Anniversary themed event, "Opening of Japan Expo Y150. An exhibition hall, restaurant, information center, and other functions are provided in a continuous space consisting of interior, semi-exterior, and exterior structural units constructed of steel tubes in a single-leaf hyperbolic shape. The lighting plan was designed by Izumi Okayasu.
