KENICHIRO NIIZEKI /NIIZEKI STUDIO
- Outline
- This office building was constructed on a site with a long, narrow frontage and little depth, created by the widening of a road. To secure the depth, reinforced concrete masonry (RM) construction, which can be constructed close to the site boundary, was adopted. The custom-colored white concrete blocks are the structural elements and also serve as the finish for the interior and exterior walls. The interior walls are arranged to create a sense of space in the longitudinal direction. On the outside, the concrete block walls facing the street create an urban landscape.
