Takatsuki House
Masaru Takahashi Architectural design office
- Outline
- A home for a family of four who spend a lot of time indoors. Volumes containing private rooms were arranged as separate wings on the east and west sides of the lot, with a two-story atrium serving as a public space between them. To allow residents to feel connected to the outdoors even while inside, the north and south sides of the atrium—which functions as a living room and dining area—are fully open, creating a seamless connection to the garden beyond.
