Outline: We planned a two-family home with a pastry workshop and retail space in a residential neighborhood dotted with small shops. The exterior was designed to blend into the streetscape, including aligning the height of the building with the surrounding parking spaces. Our goal was to create a home shaped by the cumulative interactions with the surrounding places, people, and daily activities.
