Outline: The designer's own residence, a 90-year-old row house, was renovated. Most of the construction was done by the designer and his associates. The existing floor was removed and a 1-meter hole was dug in the interior to create a semi-basement. By not showing the drawings to the collaborators as much as possible, and by interacting with them on site during the construction process, we aimed to open up the collaborators' active involvement in the architecture through the sharing of techniques.
