House and Hamlet

Outline
Built at the entrance of a small village. The central living room is surrounded by a broad green. The exterior walls are made of solid walls, with 120mm square columns eccentrically mounted on 150mm x 120mm foundations. The broadleaf arbor has decks and openings at the four corners, and the corners are lowered to strengthen the sense of connection with the surrounding environment. The eaves of the shed are 900mm, allowing light from the living room to spread through the opening in the middle level and to illuminate the floor of the second floor.
