Baison Gallery

Sébastien Renauld +Mélanie Heresbach / 2m26 + Nishimura-gumi

Outline: Nishimura Gumi, a construction company, is the owner of this house and gallery in "Bison," a community for artists created by renovating 10 vacant houses in Kobe City with their own participation. Architect 2m26 designed the gallery on the first floor of the western half of the house, which was originally occupied by three families, while Nishimura Gumi constructed the second floor and decided on the floor plan on an ad hoc basis.
