House G
ATELIER AND I, KAZUNARI SAKAMOTO ARCHITECTURAL LABORATORY
- Outline
- Renovation of a house built in the 1940s in China. The existing wooden flooring was removed and a new floor with a difference in level was hung to expand the width and height of the space toward the garden outside. The depth created by the birch plywood shelves along the walls on both sides of the house changes the relationship between the adjacent rooms and the exterior space.
