Rinboku Terrace
Atelier Kazuki Wakahara
- Outline
- A house for a family of three in a suburban residential area. Openings and fittings of various sizes regulate the light environment and the relationship with the city. The current room is an atrium, and the Japanese-style room on the second floor facing it has a large opening and a bench like bay window that also serves as a handrail. The terrace outside the house and the limb tree planted on the front side of the road provide a buffer from the city.
