Outline: An accommodation facility built on Fukue Island in the Goto Islands, Nagasaki Prefecture. The building was renovated from a 52-year-old elementary school that had been closed. The effective width of the private rooms matches the dimensions of the private rooms in Le Corbusier's "La Tourette Abbey," so we decided to design it as a monastery-like place and incorporated various ideas related to that.
