- A total of five lodging facilities (two types) built on town-owned land in tokunoshima, kagoshima prefecture. the aim was to utilize public property on the island to create a new resource and increase revenue for the municipality. of the four ridges of the square roofs, one is folded up in the direction that provides a view to the sea. in addition, three of the five buildings have taken over the stilted roof style seen on tokunoshima.
