Mitsuya Land

The designer's own residence, built on the edge of a community facing a forest park, has an office and water area on the first floor and living spaces on the second and third floors, with the difference in floor levels creating various distances from the forest and the community. the light that penetrates through the gaps in the floor illuminates the dimly lit forest along the slope of the valley. in addition, a river runs through the cavity under the center of the building, and a pond on the site collects water and allows it to percolate into the ground, while the overflowing water flows into a wetland area.
