- The house is located in a corner of takayama city, gifu prefecture, where there are many old merchant houses and buildings. the 130-year-old storehouse was renovated into a french restaurant and residence, with the first floor divided into east-west and the second floor into north-south. the first floor is divided into east-west and north-south spaces, each following the spatial experience of the storehouse, which is long in the north-south direction.
