House in Yukigaya Renovation

Outline: House in yukigaya" ("shinkenchiku" 7606) is the first building yoshio taniguchi worked on after establishing his own firm. this renovation project was undertaken on the occasion of a change in its ownership. the aging thermal environment facilities, interior finishes, water and electrical systems were updated. the 150mm square porcelain tiles on the floor and walls of the court were left as they were when the building was completed, and the interior walls were partially dismantled in line with the new lifestyle, but the renovation was carried out following the original design as much as possible.
