Outline: The house is for a single person in an urban residential neighborhood. the roof is a double membrane structure with structural and light-transmitting insulation. the site has a narrow frontage and is surrounded by buildings, and soft light from the membrane roof comes in during the daytime under conditions that do not allow for large openings in the surrounding area. in contrast to the bright public space on the second floor, which is filled with soft light, the first floor is a private space such as bedrooms and bathrooms, and is a calm space like a cave.
