Outline: Of the existing main house (parent household) and detached house that originally stood on the same site, this house (child household) was built on the site where the detached house was demolished. in order to reorganize the relationship between the existing main house and the detached house, a common garden is located where the two buildings meet, and a private garden is located on the southwest side of the site across from the building. the eaves on the east side of the house are extended deeply to block the sunlight and sight lines from the neighboring houses and the road, while creating a space that integrates the inside and outside.
