- The house of a couple who moved to the foot of mt. yatsugatake with a view of mt. the house is built on a gently sloping southern site. the house is a two-story, nearly one-story structure, with a plan that allows for living almost entirely on the ground floor. the dining room, living room, and kitchen are combined into a large space that is connected to a deck with a view of mt. fuji. the surrounding rooms open onto the garden to the south.
