A multi-story row house where the mother lives on the first floor and the children live on the second floor. the courtyard and terrace on the south side of the site serve as a buffer between the upper and lower floors. the terraced roof of the garage allows light, wind, and sight lines to pass through, and the house is situated in the city without a sense of enclosure. the first floor is accessed through a red door, and the second floor through an external staircase to its left.
