Outline: The first floor of a 40-year-old wooden house was converted into a residence with a partial nail salon. the entrance earthen floor, which was created by dismantling the existing floor space, serves as a buffer that gently connects the nail salon and the living space. in the living space, the "tano-ji" plan, which was used to separate public and private space with an awareness of visitors, is now a large one-room space that gently connects the inside and outside, reconstructing a moderate relationship between the local community and family members.
