- A one-story house built in the forest on the echizen coast where a couple who moved to the area live. the kitchen, dining room, and living room are integrated into an earthen floor, and a 3.5-sloped, single-slope roof hangs over a 10-tatami mat board room. the pillars, beams, and planks are all made of local echizen cedar and pine.
