Two-family House in the Forest

A two-family house with a mostly flat roof. the terrace and inner terrace are placed as a buffer to the bakery owned by the builder, which stands to the south of the house. the interior of the house is designed to bring in views into the forest and sunlight through the trees, and to compensate for the shadows cast by the deep eaves, the gable apex is shifted and high sidelights are placed in the center of the building.
